Alisha Bennett

Naturopath

Alisha is a dedicated, inquisitive naturopath who focuses on uncovering and treating the root causes of illness. With a family immersed in naturopathy, psychology, traditional chinese medicine and nursing, her path into holistic healthcare was a natural and intuitive progression.

She holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Naturopathy from Endeavour College of Natural Health, reflecting her strong commitment to rigorous, evidence-informed practice. Alisha continues to deepen her expertise through ongoing training in functional testing interpretation, which allows her to offer comprehensive and highly personalised care to each client.

Throughout her professional journey, Alisha has developed a particular passion for gut dysfunction, longevity and preventative healthcare, perimenopause, and broader complex health issues. These interests enable her to support clients who are seeking both targeted solutions to specific concerns and overall improvements in long-term wellbeing.

Alisha utilises advanced assessment tools to refine her clinical insights. She offers stool testing through Microba (previously Cobiome), providing detailed information about gut health, microbiome balance, and digestive function. She also provides DNA testing through 3x4, a powerful genomic tool that explores genetic predispositions related to nutrition, metabolism, detoxification, and overall health. These insights help her design tailored health plans that optimise nutrition, lifestyle, and wellness outcomes based on each person’s unique biology.

By integrating functional testing with nutritional support and evidence-based natural treatments, Alisha ensures her clients receive truly holistic, effective care at Healing Hands. Her approach is collaborative and educational, helping clients understand the “why” behind their symptoms and the “how” of their treatment plans so they can feel confident and empowered in their health choices.
