Katy Lawryk is a naturopath, nutritionist, western herbalist and exercise scientist who has a wealth of experience in the health industry. Her resume is vast and varied which ensures that she uses multi-disciplinary knowledge and experience to ensure you receive the healing that you need.
Katy has worked for the commonwealth rehabilitation services Australia in Alice springs as a rehabilitation officer for indigenous health and early childhood development where she trained with indigenous healers in Australian bush medicine.
She also specialised in rehabilitation through working with stroke patients, motor vehicle accidents and disabled sports/athletes, working with wheelchair rugby before assisting the Australian Rugby Union.
Katy worked as a high-performance coach, rehabilitation specialist and team nutritionist with the Australian rugby union national gold program for 7 years. This included travelling with teams and supporting individual health goals using a mixture of skills in natural medicine, supplementation, compounding, exercise and rehabilitation therapies, nutrition, meditation, relaxation and breath work modalities to enhance performance, recovery and growth patterns in developing and ageing athletes.
Katy then progressed to working with NRL teams throughout Australia in holistic athlete development and performance. This included a broad range of athletes including Olympic swimmers, Olympic triathletes, premier AFL players, mixed martial artists, boxers and world tour beach volleyball players to name a few.
Throughout her development and education Katy has continually combined therapies and modalities in biochemical and pathophysiological rehabilitation techniques to holistically reset, reboot and re-nourish people from the inside out.
Katy excels in working collaboratively with a wide range of allied health practitioners, specialists and GP's to continually develop outstanding health care programs and protocols to help people take charge of their health.
